Description
Our wooden sheds have been designed by experts to be both practical and aesthetically pleasing.
Choose from the traditional apex design, with its peaked roof and higher ridge height providing extra workspace, or the contemporary flat-roofed pent style which blends seamlessly into the background of any outdoor space.
Whichever you prefer, rest assured that every one of our garden buildings is built to last using treated and kiln-dried Scandinavian timber and stainless steel fixings. For exposed locations or heavy use, our Super Heavy Duty range features thicker loglap boarding, or why not add felt shingles to your order for extra strength and longevity?
Garden storage
Whether you need a home for your lawnmower, your bike or other garden supplies, a well-constructed shed provides a safe and secure storage area for a range of possessions, keeping them protected from the elements and looking their best for longer.
Use the extra space to free up valuable room in your garage or home or declutter your outdoor areas – most sheds can incorporate multiple hooks, shelves and wall storage to make the most of the square footage available.
Pent sheds are particularly practical when it comes to storage, with a consistent roof height that’s ideal for installing shelving. Apex sheds are taller, which can be useful for some items, but the extra height is confined to the centre.
More than a shed
Our spacious sheds have the potential to be more than just a storage space. With the extra headroom and large window, our apex range makes an ideal workshop or craft room, while the boxier pent design has all the wall space you need to add a desk and convert it into a cosy workspace. Or, if you’re looking for a purpose-built studio or office, take a look at our Timber Pods.

A long-lasting shed needs a robust construction and we pride ourselves on using only the highest quality timber for our frames and cladding.
The frame is a crucial element in shed construction, providing strength and stability to ensure it can withstand wind, snow and the weight of the roof. It’s the part that the cladding is fixed to and therefore, the larger the frame, the more stable and durable the shed. All our base frames are 44mm x 44mm and our wall frames are 32mm x 44mm, so our sheds will stay standing whatever the British weather throws at them.
On top of our frames, we use loglap cladding, a type of tongue and groove similar to shiplap cladding. The panels fit together with each board overlapping the one before to create a strong, water-resistant surface. However, while shiplap boards are flat, loglap cladding has a slightly rounded surface (like a log) which makes it thicker and more durable, and gives a more rustic look. The reverse side is flat so each panel can be fixed securely. On our Classic sheds, the boarding has a thickness of 14mm throughout. Our Super Heavy Duty range, which is designed for more extreme environments and heavy use, has a boarding thickness of 14mm on the roof and floor panels and 18mm on the walls.
