Importing the sawn timber for our European partners in Sweden and Finland, we are able to source the highest grade timber at the current market prices. The savings generated are reflected in the increased quality of timber and treatments embedded within our range of products.
The newest addition to the Swantech Ltd group of companies, The Yorkshire Timber Company reinforces our traditional values. With our partners in the logistics industry, we are able to offer hand crafted products – many available for delivery in just a few days.
The knowledge we have gained over the past 43 years of only selecting the premium timber means that not only they look great, they will stand the test of time, aging gracefully and providing our clients with years of problem-free use.

OUR HISTORY
Our family-run organisation was founded 8th September 1980 and has always traded from the same site. Since then, the organisation has grown massively in both size and the range of services we offer our clients. Knowing a thing or two about sawing and planing timber, we have recently decide to create our own bespoke range of treated timber products that will be offered direct to the public, this by its very nature eliminates many tiers of middlemen and for once that often used sales slogan… “Buy direct from the mill and save £$£” has never been more true.
